Your job

Preparing trains for formation on the departure tracks or for shunting brake tests, including checking the brakes

Coupling and uncoupling
traction vehicles Preparing arriving trains in accordance with the long train list and
instructions Disassembling long trains using a coupling rod in accordance with
the disassembly list Coupling and uncoupling traction vehicles and
wagons Reporting irregularities, deviations, etc. to the responsible authority

Your profile

The shunting service employee is responsible for the safe, punctual,
economical, and customer-oriented provision of shunting services in accordance with the order and for the correct application of train service processes.

At the Limmattal marshalling yard, they move around stationary and moving freight cars on the track field. This often causes noise or different freight cars colliding with each other.

Therefore, you should not be easily startled.
